Enjoy homemade tea treats and fine loose-leaf teas.

For a special treat, book an afternoon tea. On a hot summer day, it might be served in the air-conditioned living room or the dining room - wherever you choose. The casual service shown here represents a typical tea menu: cheddar scones with tomatoes from the garden, smoked salmon sandwiches, cucumber and mint sandwiches, lemon scones, fresh berries from the garden with melon balls in lemon verbena syrup, and brewed hot and iced teas. Your background music might be classical cds or, if on the porch, the calls of songbirds in the garden.

As with all extra meals, tea needs to be booked in advance; it is available Tuesday through Sunday.
