Smorgåsbord / Cold Table / Kolde Bord

For a special treat, book a Scandinavian lunch - for any time in the afternoon or evening.

As if you were at a home party in Sweden or Denmark, enjoy a "cold table" with a delicious variety of Scandinavian specialties. Marinated herring, smoked salmon, meatballs (Danish style, without sauce) or sausages, cheese, potato salad, cucumber salad, apple and beet salad, served with butter and dark breads (French bread if desired). NB: The photo shows an arrangement of about half of the items.

As we do not have a liquor license, this meal is BYOB: we will gladly chill your champagne, beer, aquavit, and/or vodka and offer appropriate glasses.

The smorgåsbord can be served where you please: the screened porch, dining room, living room, or even the north patio.

As with all extra meals, the Scandinavian lunch needs to be booked in advance; it is available Tuesday through Sunday.
